3Leaf Systems Closes $20 Million Second Financing Round

SANTA CLARA, CA -- 3Leaf Systems announced the close of its series B round of venture capital financing, receiving $20 million from a syndicate of investors.

3Leaf claims that is software products simplify data center operations by increasing the utilization and capacity of large-scale data center resources.  They provide server virtualization systems that "support both scale-up and scale-out virtual servers in enterprise data centers."

The round was led by Intel Capital, and included existing investors Enterprise Partners, Storm Ventures and Alloy Ventures.  The company said it intends to use the proceeds to accelerate product development and expand sales and marketing efforts in support of its pending product launch.
